About the project

The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools, through Tri-County ROP, proposed the Regional Middle College and Dual Enrollment Project to transform education access across Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa counties. Inspired by the Tri-Valley ROP model, the initiative launched a Middle College program for high school students while expanding dual enrollment opportunities for adult learners through the five-county NCAEC consortium.

In partnership with Yuba College, the project prioritizes equity, academic support, and college-career alignment. Grant funding supports dedicated staffing, professional development, and infrastructure to ensure all students — especially underrepresented groups — are able to access, succeed in, and benefit from early and integrated college experiences.
