Do you have any insights that could help others in the Collaborative?
Our program has been extremely successful, with nearly every available spot filled. This success is largely
due to our strong partnerships with college career centers and work experience coordinators, who actively promote the program to employers and students at the ground level. Their engagement has been key to building awareness and trust within our communities.
Nearly all of the students we serve meet one or more of the program’s priority categories, ensuring that we are reaching the populations most in need of these opportunities.
Since launching in January 2025, we
have served nearly 60 students—a testament to the power of collaboration and targeted outreach. Our main insight for others in the Collaborative is that investing time in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners pays off tremendously. These partnerships create a direct pipeline to both qualified students and engaged employers, leading to sustained success and program growth.
Looking Ahead
At this stage, our greatest need is continued funding support. The program has been highly successful, but we are nearly out of funds to sustain operations and maintain the level of impact we’ve achieved so far. Additional funding would allow us to continue serving students effectively and to build on the strong partnerships that have made the program a success.
While visibility and collaboration are always valuable, our most immediate and pressing need is financial support to ensure the program’s continuity.
