From California Community Colleges:
The 2024 – 2025 MAP Regional Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) Trainings are presented by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CO) and the California Mapping Articulated Pathways (MAP) Initiative.
This regional training is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown-Arena. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Supercharge your college CPL efforts by bringing your full CPL/MAP Team to one of these regional trainings. At these events, your team will learn how to:
- Revise local policies and procedures to comply with state and federal regulations
- Engage instructional and counseling faculty in the CPL decision making process
- Conduct targeted outreach to your community through CPL offers
- Ensure that student veterans receive the credit they deserve
These events are designed to train your CPL/MAP Team to work through the entire CPL process, from outreach and onboarding to planning, awarding and tracking outcomes.
