About this project
The Northstate Health Care Pathway, part of the North CERF initiative, offers a comprehensive regional approach for students to explore the healthcare industry. It integrates high school ROP classes, community college programs, and local healthcare certification programs, guiding students toward medical programs at UC Davis or Sacramento State.
Two pathways were developed to serve both CTE and A–G students, leveraging dual enrollment to support accelerated entry. Encompassing existing programs across Sutter, Colusa, Yuba, Yolo, and El Dorado Counties, the pathway provides diverse educational and career exploration experiences.
A healthcare navigator supports students across partnering counties, fostering collaboration, professional development, networking, and access to updated resources. The initiative also ensures consistent data reporting to strengthen K–16 collaboration.
