Here are the steps to take to learn more and participate. By joining, you’ll help create a seamless educational pipeline that supports student success, equity, and workforce readiness. Through data sharing, we can work together to achieve outcomes that no single institution can accomplish alone, such as increasing transfer rates, supporting disproportionately impacted students, and aligning educational pathways with workforce needs.
Step 1: Watch the Info Session
Start by watching our Data Sharing Info Session . This session explains the Data Sharing Agreement and Pilot, how data sharing works, and gives you an in-depth look at the Primary MOU and Secondary Data Agreement.
Step 2: Read Key Documents
Familiarize yourself with the Collaborative’s purpose and data-sharing goals:

- Why Data Sharing Matters : Understand how shared data can improve equity, enhance student outcomes, and streamline pathways across institutions.

Step 3: Fill Out the Data Sharing Interest Form
Let us know that you’re ready to explore participation in the Collaborative. Completing the Data Sharing Interest Form indicates your institution’s interest in taking the next steps.
Step 4: Host a Meeting of the Minds
We will schedule a meeting with all relevant staff members, including IT, research teams, and leadership, as well as legal counsel. This meeting ensures all stakeholders are aligned and informed about the agreement.
- During this meeting, legal counsel will discuss a draft of the Data Sharing Agreement (SDA) and address any questions or concerns.
Step 5: Review and Sign the MOU & SDA
Once all parties agree to the terms of the agreement, sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Data Sharing Agreement (SDA).
- These documents formalize your commitment to the Collaborative’s shared goals and data-sharing protocols.
Step 6: Share Data!
After signing the agreements, begin securely sharing data.
