Funding Opportunity: Apply Now for Up to $900K in K16 Scale Up Accelerator Funds – Deadline Nov 1

We are excited to announce the opening of the application process for the Scale Up Accelerator Funds, designed to boost existing successful initiatives within the Sacramento K16 Collaborative. This funding opportunity aims to significantly impact our Collaborative’s goals by accelerating innovative projects and efforts.

 

Funding Overview:

 

Available Funds: Up to $900,000 in Round 1 (Fall 2024)

Application Deadline: Friday, November 1, 2024

Grant Duration: January 2025 – June 30, 2026

 

Eligibility: We invite applications from:

  • Entities serving learners within the Sacramento CERF region
    • Educational institutions or
    • Nonprofit and community-based organizations sponsored by a Local Education Agency, Community College, or Four-Year University

Purpose: The Scale Up Accelerator Funds provide a unique opportunity to expand on successful partnerships and projects that are part of the Sacramento K16 Collaborative. 

 

Application Requirements: To apply, please submit your proposal to K16@capitolimpact.org. 

 

Each application should address the following key areas:

  1. Priority: Demonstrate collaboration in Career Pathways, Dual Enrollment, Data Sharing, and/or alignment with the We Prosper Together initiative.
  1. Significance: Align with one or more of the Collaborative’s key goals.
  1. Innovation: Show how funds will support breakthrough work and create models for replication.
  1. Timing: Outline milestones and measurable progress in relation to the grant period.
  1. Replication: Detail potential for scalability and sustainability within the K-16 Collaborative.
